Bashir has several decades of experience in the telecommunications and ICT sector in Nigeria. He is currently the chairman of IHS Nigeria Plc, a foremost telecommunications infrastructure company as well as the Chairman, Intercellular Nigeria Plc, the first indigenous private telecommunications operator.
He held several positions in Nigerian Telecommunications Limited (NITEL) between 1983 and 1996. He was formerly General Manager of the Lagos Zone of NITEL. He was also Deputy General Manager/Deputy Director of Plateau State.
He graduated with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Biochemistry and Microbiology (Combined Honours) from Ahmadu Bello University Zaria in 1977 and earned a Master of Business Administration Degree from the same institution in 1981 finishing as the best graduating student of the class. He also earned a Professional Diploma of the Chartered Institute of Marketing, United Kingdom. He is happily married with Children. Bashir is the Chairman of CDL.
Engr. Rauf Aderemi Olaniyan Fnse, is a 1985 Engineering graduate of the University of Nigeria, Nsukka. He is a member of the Council for the Regulation of Engineers in Nigeria, COREN and Fellow of both the Institute of Public Administration and the Civilian Institute of Democratic Administration of Nigeria.
Mr. Olaniyanis an experienced Civil Engineer with many years of work in the planning and construction of roads and other infrastructure, he worked with the Department of Construction, Operation and Maintenance in the Ogun-OsunRivers Basin Development Authority and served as Deputy Director of Rural Roads and Infrastructure for the office of the Governor of Oyo State from1988-1996, before he joined the Oyo State, Ministry of Works and Transport where he then designed and supervised road projects including the World Bank financed Multi-State Road project.
Engr. Olaniyanrose quickly through the ranks, to become the pioneer General Manager of the Oyo State Road, Maintenance Agency, an offshoot from the Oyo State, Ministry of Works and Transport in 2004, and the Permanent Secretary at the Oyo State Civil Service in 2007, where he served until his retirement in 2011. He is currently the MD/CEO WestMidland Construction Company and Chairman/CEOof Blueline Construction Services,both in Ibadan,OyoState.
Charles Osezua is a foremost Nigerian Gas Engineer; a technocrat who championed a number of the early efforts in the development of gas policies in Nigeria. Osezua has over three decade experience in the oil and gas industry. He has advised at the highest levels of government and the industry, on technical and policy issues. He graduated from Texas A and M University, where he obtained a B.Sc.NaturalGas Engineering in 1979,and an M.Sc.in Engineering with a split Minor in Business Administration and International Law in 1981.
At different times, he was appointed Special Assistant to the Head of State on Oil and Gas matters,Technical Adviser to the Chairman,NNPC Board,and a Member of the Technical Advisory Committee of the Board of the Nigerian LNG,a one time Past President of the Nigerian Gas Association(NGA)and a member of the Global Gas Policy Council of the International Gas Union(IGU).
An entrepreneur and a social engineer, Charles Osezua has promoted and founded a number of businesses and NGOs including; the Owel-LinksoGroup - a multidisciplinary service provider to the oil and gas, power and construction industries in Nigeria, GaslinkNigeria Limited -Nigeria's foremost gas utility company, Gas Train Limited -a gas development company, building gas infrastructure for gas utilization/monetization in the Niger Delta Region.
He Chairs a number of Boards such as the Governing Council of the Pan Atlantic University,Educational Co - operation Society(ECS)-the founder of the Lagos Business School(LBS),the Institute for Work and Family Integration(IWFI),Cordros Capital Limited,to mention but a few.
He has received a number of national and international honours including the title: Officer of the Order of the Niger (OON), from the Federal Government of Nigeria for his professional excellence and contributions to the development of the Nigerian oil and gas industry; he was honoured with the European title of the Right Honourable Cavalier of the Order of St. Gregory the Great, by the Pope. Charles is a director of CDL.
Lawrence Ogunleye was born in Ado Ekiti on 7th December 1946. He attended the University of Ibadan where he obtained a B. Sc in Physics in December 1970. He worked briefly in Cocoa Research Institute of Nigeria (CRIN) in Adi Ayun in Ibadan from December 1966 to September 1966, before entering University of Ibadan and finished in June 1970.
He joined the defunct NET in July 1973 in UK after he obtained his Masters Degree in Electrical Electronics from University of Wales Institute of Science & Technology and rose to the rank of Assistant Director. At the formation of NITEL in 1983, he was made Deputy General Manager Planning and Development for Lagos zone, where he was responsible for the planning and development of all the networks of Lagos zone.
In 1989, he was made the Territorial Manager for Lagos Mainland where he was responsible for the operation of all the exchanges in Lagos Mainland including Epe and Badagry. This position he held until 1992 when he was promoted to the position of General Manager, Planning and Development in NITEL headquarters. He was then responsible for the planning and development of the network of the whole country. He joined Intercellular as Vice President Planning and Development in 1996. He currently runs a consultancy firm Messrs. Telecktrik Noveau as the Chief Executive Officer. Lawrence is a director of CDL.
Abdulkadir Idris has several decades of experience in the Financial and Banking Industry. He was the Executive Director, Business development Nigeria Agricultural, Co-operative and Rural Development Bank from 2005 to 2009. Before that he served as the Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer of Eagle Bank Limited from 2002 to 2004. Director and Chief Executive Officer of International Trust Bank Plc between 1999 and 2002. He joined the Habib Nigeria Bank Ltd as a deputy controller in 1987 and left the servicers of Habib Nigeria Bank Ltd in 1999 as General Manger. This was after he left the First Bank of Nigeria Plc in 1986 as Senior Manager 1 where he joined 1982. Mr. Idris started his banking career with Chase Merchant Bank (Nig) Ltd as Credit analyst and rose to become a Senior credit analyst in the Merchant Bank between 1978 and 1982.
